About

FOR SALE BY OWNER!

Please e-mail for any other information/inquiries - silentaftershock@hotmail.com

We are selling our camp that is located in Weston Maine. This camp is really something special. It sits on roughly 9.4 +/- acres on a year round maintained road. There is power and phone at the street.

The property has 4 buildings on it, two are very nice cabins, and then there is also an a-frame style building as well as a great dry storage building. Each building is described below with measurements etc.

The property also has a drilled well! The property has abundant apple trees, some good size sugar maples and yellow birch, the majority of the property is heavily wooded and has not been logged in quite some time. There is an established garden bed, as well as many plantings including (fruit trees, fruit bushes, nut trees/bushes)! Along with the planted trees and bushes there is approximately 50-100+ wild apple trees haven't done a full count but there is A LOT, this has huge potential. There is also a partial yurt frame on the property all made with timbers sourced on site.

Here is the information on the buildings,

Building 1 - Front cabin, this cabin is absolutely beautiful, it has a main room, a side/front enclosed porch, and a back partially enclosed porch. The back porch could easily be finished to be part of the cabin rather than just a porch if desired. This cabin is roughly 22 and 1/2 feet long, roughly 10 and 1/2 feet wide, has a sloping ceiling that ranges from a little over 6 feet on the low end and a little over 7 feet on the high end, sloped for easier snow removal in winter. Has tongue and groove interior siding that is absolutely beautiful which covers the walls and ceiling. Lots of potential with this one. Also has a wood stove outlet for stovepipe and two 3 sided storage sheds for firewood or outdoor storage.

Building 2 - This one we call the back cabin, sits back a bit and offers amazing privacy. This one is a tad smaller, but this is still our favorite because it is absolutely beautiful! This one is also equipped with a wood stove hook up, has a great add on screened in porch with large stones for the flooring, has the beginnings of a living roof on the extension, the cabin itself has metal roofing. This cabin is also well insulated, and has 5 beautiful windows that let in the most inviting summer breezes! There is also a hand-built cob facing where the wood stove hookup is. The back view out of the windows is of a grove of sugar maples, some ash, and mixed evergreens, amazing views and such peace! The measurements of this building are as follows, roughly 13 and a 1/2 foot long, by roughly 9 feet and three inches wide, with a sloping ceiling ranging from roughly 6 feet and nine inches on the low side, and roughly 7 feet and eight inches on the higher side.

Building 3 - A-Frame, I was not able to get measurements of this building, but you can get a pretty good idea of size from the photos. This is a very well insulated little building that also has a wood stove hookup. The a-frame portion of the building was intended for a super cozy sleeping area or would make great storage.

Building 4 - This is what we have used for various storage purposes which has served us very well. I did not get measurements, but again you can get a good feel of size from the photos. This also has a simple attached side structure for storing outside items, we mainly kept the rototiller and various garden tools in there when we used it.

Don't let the chance pass you by on this one, this is a really wonderful property that is close to an amazing selection of outdoor activities and hunting/fishing opportunities.

This will be a CASH only sale, no rent to own, no owner financing, sorry! We're moving closer to family so want to sell and be done with it. The price is $27,000. We will consider offers, but are fairly firm on price, and we don't need to sell. We would however really like to see someone purchase this that will get great use out of it, would make an amazing camp, a great homestead, you could even remain off grid if so desire, or if you ever want to hook up to the grid, it's there and waiting. E-mail serious inquiries only, we're super busy and are sure your time is just as valuable as ours. No guarantees expressed or implied, interested parties responsibility to verify any and all information. Sold on a strictly as is where is basis, including no guarantee to sell unless agreed upon in writing via a notarized purchase and sale agreement.

$27,000 - entertaining reasonable offers. Thank you!
