About
Built by Nomad Tiny Homes this Austin, Texas delight is just waiting for its new owner. Situated on a tandem axle trailer, the THOW is 28 feet long allowing for roughly 224 interior square feet. Framed with wood lumber, the exterior is board and batten painted a quaint robin’s egg blue. The trim is white and the entry door is a French door complete with glass panes. The home also has 13 vinyl energy-efficient windows. Despite its road appeal though, it is the inside that really shines.
Once you enter your new home, you can either turn right into the living area or turn left into the kitchen.
The living area has a built-in shelf system just under the window and still has enough room for a couch. The walls are tongue-and-groove as they are throughout, and there are even two corner shelves on either side of the couch. The space and the window positions in the room provide ample space for a workstation or even an easy chair. If Netflix is more your thing than curling up with a good book, there are a couple of very strategic places to mount a flatscreen!
Moving through the house you enter into the adorable kitchen. The left side features the cooktop and the farm-style apron sink and surrounds them with two large base cabinets and a beautiful slate-colored countertop. There is also a dishwasher drawer and a garage for a microwave. The right side of the kitchen is actually just under the stairs to the sleeping loft. However, the area is home to a 24” refrigerator, a stacking washer and dryer, and built-in cabinetry. It is all highly functional.
The house fills out with a spacious bathroom that includes a full shower stall, a flush commode, and a bathroom vanity with a wash basin. The sleeping loft is above the bathroom and is outfitted in such a cozy way. It has a queen-size mattress, a bookcase, sconce lighting, and three windows for complete circulation.
Recessed lighting throughout as well as a caged ceiling fan truly adds to the creature comfort level of the tiny house. The hot water in the kitchen and the bathroom is provided by a Takagi tankless hot water heater. Powered by a 50 amp panel, the house connects to shore power and water just as an RV would with hose bibb connection, a 50 amp plug, and a 3” sewage drain line.
This Lonestar Tiny House truly outshines them all and is ready to move right into. For additional information Call Ashley at 704-508-9046 or email at Ashley@tinyhouselistings.com
