We’re Jess and Lake, a fire and water husband-and-wife duo with a love for living simply, intentionally, and creatively. We’re a homeschooling family of four who’ve embraced tiny living as a lifestyle! From sailing the seas in our first home (a sailboat!) to traveling cross-country in a converted horse trailer, our journey has always revolved around making more space for what matters most.

Lake has decades of experience in high-end construction, off-grid systems, and custom design. A former wildland firefighter and EMT with a deep respect for craftsmanship and nature, he brings that same energy and excellence to every inch of this home. To put in perspective, much of the trim, cabinetry, counter tops, and more are built from wood milled and air dried by Lake himself! We created this off-grid tiny house to offer flexibility in our work and family life. Now we’re ready to pass it along to someone who values freedom, quality, and a unique story.

Living Area
From the moment you walk in, the high ceilings make the space feel open and bright! There’s room for a small sectional or built-in seating area, plus space to add shelving or a desk for work-from-home needs. The layout is flexible, so whether you’re into cozy movie nights or minimalist zen, it’s yours to shape.

Kitchen
Designed for real living with full-sized refrigerator, ample counter space, and deep cabinetry allow for storage without compromise. Durable surfaces and smart layout make cooking easy and intuitive, even in a small footprint.

Bathroom
Simple and efficient with a large standing shower. Plumbing is already installed (PEX + PVC), and ready for connection to a traditional set up, but can be temporarily be covered and finished with an off-grid solution! Whether you opt for a composting toilet or full flush system, the space is cleanly designed for flexibility.

The Main sleeping loft is accessed by a compact stair setup with two durable handholds for climbing. The well-insulated ceiling and thoughtful window placement keep things comfortable while offering plenty of ventilation and light.
