Seasonal Lake Community Lot for Rent:

This is your chance to have a weekend getaway at the Barbee Chain of Lakes and make it your own! It's uncommon to have an opportunity to bring a new home into this seasonal lake community in Kosciusko County. The available lot can accommodate a tiny home (on wheels), a park model home or an RV. Per county requirements, any new unit coming into the park cannot be more than 10 years old.

This quiet, friendly, seasonal lake community has hilltop views overlooking Little Barbee and Sechrist lakes with community lake access and piers on Little Barbee. Big Barbee (the all-sports lake), Little Barbee, Sechrist, Kuhn, Sawmill, Irish, and Banning, are all connected and accessible via boat from Little Barbee. Tippecanoe is also accessible via the Grassy Creek canal with a small watercraft.

A great public beach on Sechrist is a short walk down the hill from the park. Sechrist is known for its crystal clear spring-fed water. Fishing in the connected lakes is great - some of the largest muskies in the state have been caught within casting distance from our piers. The Barbee Marina and boat launch is next door and we have on site boat storage.

There's a community fire pit with stunning views overlooking the lake and the piers. For entertainment and food, the Landing, Danny's Sport's Bar and the Barbee Hotel are a short golf cart ride down the hill. North Webster, Tippecanoe, Wawasee, Winona Lake and Warsaw are all within a short 15 minute drive from the park.

Lot rent includes use of one assigned boat slip and outdoor boat storage space through the winter. Plus we allow golf carts. The park is open May 1 - Oct 31 although homes stay on the lots year round. 

Seasonal lot rent is $1590 and due twice per year to cover Jan-Jun then Jul-Dec which works out to about $265/month. Lot rent includes water, new public sewer and residential trash collection. Electric is paid by the resident. You can also order high speed internet.

The park will provide additional lot and electrical prep but the type of unit coming in must be determined first (requirements for a park model home are often different than a smaller RV.)

Less than an hour from Fort Wayne, about an hour from South Bend, and a little over 2 hours from Indy or Chicago.
