Some tiny houses are built for extreme luxury while others are built for extreme functionality. No matter what the end goal, a good tiny house will maintain an architectural integrity that makes it stand out from the more traditional RV. Over the past decade tiny houses on wheels have been used as outdoor offices, in-law suites, guest bedrooms, rental homes, and - of course - primary residences. This gorgeous, professionally built, tiny home is prepared to be any one of those things. It is wired to go off-grid which gives it the unique ability to be home anywhere you want to be!

The overall size of the home is 160 square feet and is built on a tandem axle, heavy duty trailer. The design is simple as it is a rectangle with a sloping roof. Don’t be fooled though. It is what is inside that sets this home apart. Continuing on the outside though, the home is an interesting mix of cedar tongue and groove and LP SmartSide lap board.

At the rear of the trailer is a french-door entry while the primary entry is on the “driver’s side” of the trailer. The home has just four windows but they are strategically placed for optimum ventilation and cross-breeze.

Once inside the home you can see the compact scale of the home while still seeing its charm and practicality. The full pane entry door opens directly to the kitchen/living room shared space. The bathroom is on the left but is carefully disguised behind a sliding barn door.

The kitchen features an industrial looking, stainless steel sink, an Amana 4-burner slim stove/oven combo, a set of base cabinets, a set of upper cabinets, and a butcher block countertop. To make sure dishes can be done and showers can be comfortable, the water system includes a Camplux instant tankless water heater.

In the living room portion of the house there is a streamlined, modern couch that folds flat into a bed, a dropdown work desk and chair, and the beautiful french doors which add a touch of class and charm to the house. Near the workstation and throughout the house there are USB charging plugs and the lighting is all recessed LED.

The secondary loft is above the workstation and french doors and is amply sized for a bed, some storage bins, and even a nightstand. There is a window in the loft for ventilation and the headboard area is covered with a distressed barn wood vinyl. The loft (as well as the master loft) has a safety railing so no one can fall from the height.

Across the house is the master loft which while looking similar to the secondary, is quite a bit bigger and can accommodate a queen size mattress. The bathroom is below the master loft and is well-sized in proportion to the rest of the tiny house. The space has an acrylic corner shower stall, a compost toilet, a single basin bathroom vanity (with cabinet) and a hanging medicine cabinet. Again, all is concealed behind a sliding barn door.

What this stunner lacks in square footage it makes up for in style, quality, and functionality.
