Solid skoolie project ready for new life!

In late June 2024 I purchased this bus from TinyHouseListings from a nice gentleman in Lombard Illinois. He had owned the bus for about 4 years. He purchased it from a gentleman (I think in Arkansas) who had converted it 3/4 of the way to live in. The gentleman I purchased it from put about $14,000 worth of new parts and such. In the last couple years it’s had new tires, new breaking system, lots of new engine parts and various other things.

Now for the issues. When I purchased it, it needed a new fan belt. We could not find one before starting our trip back home (13 hours away) and decided to attempt the journey. We made it 100 miles down the road before the belt broke. We got it fixed by a mobile mechanic and we were back on the road. We made it another 100 miles and it broke down again. Called another mechanic and this time it was determined it’s something in the fuel system. It’s most likely the sensor that tells the fuel pump to send fuel to the engine.

Shortly after the bus was towed to a shop in Indianapolis, my wife fell sick. We have not had the extra funds to fix the bus and it is still at the shop in Indianapolis. I have a clear title for the bus registered in my name in the state of Virginia. The bus will need to be towed or will need to be repaired as it currently does not start. I had the batteries replaced in October. It will turn over and with a little starting fluid, will almost start, but the fuel system is just not pressuring up.

I’ve spent way more than I expected and with our current situation, we cannot afford to pay more to the shop. My loss.
The bus is at Rush Trucking in Indianapolis, Indiana. I won’t be able to meet you, I am currently 13 hours away. I will be able to mail you the title for the bus. The shop has all the service records and should be able to provide access to inspect it. I have not seen the bus since 6/27/24. The photos on this listing are some from the original listing and some I took on the day I picked it up, 6/25/24.

I need to get this off the lot at Rush trucking and all reasonable offers will be entertained. I would also consider trading for a pickup truck.
