This tiny house uses green/non toxic building techniques (no particle board or drywall or conventional paint), reclaimed material (old growth redwood, etc) and is energy efficient. Here are some more details:

• All seals and finishes are made with 100% natural tung oil (no stains, varnishes, or polyurethane)
• All interior paint is milk paint from the Real Milk Paint Company
• No particleboard or MDF used for furniture and cabinets (solid wood or plywood only)
• All cushions and mattresses are made from natural latex and wool
• Rockwool insulation (fireproof, no formaldehyde, and high R value)
General building materials and techniques:
• Standing seam metal roof
• Rain screen for improved air flow and drainage
• Schluter kerdi shower waterproofing membrane
• Gracie HT Ice and Water shield for roof
Final Notes:
• This tiny house is best suited to someone who has the strength and coordination to climb up and down a ladder (e.g up into the sleeping loft).
