Locally Built Victoria, BC Tiny Home

This minimally moved and exceptionally well cared for 2014 tiny home was constructed over a period of 6 months by a team of friends, family and hired tradesmen- including a professional carpenter, a professional plumber, a professional gas fitter, a professional roofer and a professional electrician. The trailer base was ordered new and fabricated specifically for tiny home construction (e.g., threaded tie rods for framing, water tight flashing underneath, etc.). It was over-engineered and splurged on with high quality materials and appliances. The space heater and hot water on demand units use propane (two 30 pound tanks are housed on the trailer tongue shed). An outlet for a regular extension cord allows for electricity to the house. A potable water hose connection supplies the water and a single ABS pipe drains the greywater collected from the bathroom sink, shower and kitchen sink. A basic 5 gallon pale composting toilet is the toilet solution.
