20' Rustic Retreat Shipping Container

Backcountry Containers is a company based just outside of Houston, TX that specializes in building shipping container tiny homes. The "Rustic Retreat" is a newly built single 20 foot shipping container tiny home and is an ideal solution for both on and off grid applications. Fully furnished, the Rustic Retreat is perfect for: acreage, hunting/fishing cabin, bunkhouse, backyard retreat, weekend getaways, cabin rentals, and anything you can dream up! Unit is equipped with a kitchenette that comes standard with a mini fridge and deep farmhouse style sink. The Rustic Retreat also comes standard with full bathroom with stall style shower. Included is a convertible style sectional that transitions into a full sized bed. A flip down style twin bed can be added, allowing this unit to sleep up to 3 people.

Units have air conditioning and heat. Unit is insulated with closed cell spray foam insulation providing both a vapor barrier and also excellent insulation properties. Electricity can be provided via provided simple hookup for generator or can be hooked up to city utility, if desired. Plumbing is set up so that the container can be either hooked up to city approved drainage, or simply hooked up to both a blackwater and greywater portable tanks. Water saving fixtures come standard in containers. Composting toilets are also an option. Water supply can either be provided by standard water hookup, or for "Off-grid", a water reservoir tank in conjunction with a pump can be used. Compact tankless water heaters are utilized for on demand hot water.

Beautiful front and roof top decks add almost 200 square feet of extra space. Unit also has built in Bluetooth stereo system with both indoor and outdoor speakers. The Rustic Retreat, along with all other Backcountry Containers configurations, can easily be shipped throughout the country.
