About
We have lived in our tiny home for 2 years now and are moving to be closer to husband’s school. We will miss this home, but we are excited for it to be YOUR next adventure!
During our time in the Orr-V, we did a number of things to make it fit our needs and feel more like home:
We removed the stock refrigerator and replaced it with a washer/steam dryer combo. This is crucial for saving money on laundry in campgrounds and on the road!
We purchased two apartment-sized refrigerators, nearly doubling our fridge space. They do not need drainage but will occasionally have to be defrosted (we have done this already).
Since we were mostly stationary, we created lightweight open shelving in a couple of locations in the RV. When moving, these shelves easily lay down to prevent tipping.
To create a custom guest space, we removed the passenger captain chair and built a storage bench in its place. This connects with a fold-out couch to create a sectional sofa. The couch folds into a full-sized bed, which would comfortably sleep one adult or two children, and an additional child can sleep on the storage bench!
In front of the couch, we built a stained coffee table over the engine doghouse--a place to rest our drinks and put our feet up.
In the bedroom, we replaced the original cabinetry with a clothing rack the width of the bedroom (more clothes!) and installed shelving above and below our hanging clothes for folded items. There is even more storage under the bed, which fits a queen-size mattress.
The propane furnace was replaced in January 2018 and kept us toasty through two New Jersey winters. The AC unit was recently refurbished, and we had a brand new mini-split installed in the bedroom to keep us cool in the summer.
Comes with all hoses, passenger captain chair (removed), 100 lb propane tank, bottle jacks for emergencies, portable black tank. Tires and wipers are only 1 year old. Approx. 75k miles. Ford V10 engine (gas). Winnebago Adventurer 35U. The basement is heated by the propane furnace.
Price reflects needed repairs:
Water pump needs a small segment of new pipe. (It's a plastic pipe and should cost less than $5. Only necessary if you're not connected to a water inlet.)
Rear left jack needs new springs
Water heater only works on propane
Awning has been removed due to wind damage
House batteries will need to be replaced soon. Once replaced, they are recharged by a solar panel on the roof.
