Ron Douglas, a general contractor for 40 years, has teamed up with the owner of Nature's Country Store to build tiny homes for the Portland area. We have a model for sale now for only $39,995 that is high quality and beautiful inside and outside! The unit is built on a double axle trailer, has 273 sq. ft, complete with electricity, water and sewer hookups. It has a bathroom with a toilet and stand up shower, a kitchen with 2 sinks, and is built with environmentally friendly materials which are allergy free! The unit has 2 lofts which serve as the bedrooms- one loft supports a queen size bed and the other a single bed or it could be used as storage area. Tiny Homes are completely mobile because they are built on a trailer- they can be transported anywhere just like a RV. The real beauty of the Tiny Home is the fact they are property tax free! Since it's considered a "mobile unit" by the County and State, you don't have to pay property taxes!
