The Little Red House

Owned and worked on for over a year. Lived in for 5 months full time.  Great way to start a tiny house journey, I've learned so much. I'm only selling this one so I can build another!  Saved thousands in rent living in it and making thousands more on Airbnb currently.

Size: Interior dimensions are 5.5 feet wide by 11.5 feet long. The loft is 5.5 wide by 8 feet long, for a total square footage of 107 sq. ft. The trailer will fit in a parking space and can be very easily pulled with a pick up truck. The outside deck and stairs are not attached.

Trailer: Tandem Axle Big Tex 50LA

Power: It plugs in with a large, four-prong, heavy duty 30 Amp plug. Has a shut off switch inside and a breaker box with 2 - 15 amp single-pole tandem circuit breakers. Inside there are 3 outlets and 3 more places to plug in power plus one outlet outside.

Plumbing: All plumbed with pex pipe. 1 sing faucet and sink, 1 shower stall 2 feet by 3 feet. Hot water heater is an on demand Eccotemp FVI-12-LP High Capacity Propane Tankless Water Heater. Nature's Head composting toilet.

Insulation: Spray-foam.

7 new vinyl windows with insulated glass including a skylight in the loft that manually opens and closes, Tin roof, copper counter top and mini-fridge under the counter.

Heater: Envi High-Efficiency Electric Panel Whole Room Heater and plug in thermostat

Travel: has thousands of miles on it, does well on the highway, has been sitting in one place for about a year now. Has a current tag for the trailer.

History: constructed in Vermont in 2013, moved to Durham, NC by the previous owner. Moved from Durham to Asheville by me with a Uhaul truck in 2015. Trailer has a tag that is registered to me and up to date. Construction was finished in Asheville in 2016. It's currently available to stay in on Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14816025
