16’ Pacific Dome with Reflectix Insulation and Handmade Cotton Liner

Beautiful 16’ Pacific Dome shelter, ideal space for doing yoga, meditating, art, music, crafts, as a guest accommodation, air-b-n-b, or just about anything else you can dream up. The round space feels wonderful and inspires whatever you do - excellent as just a get-away space to relax in, yet can serve as a living space as well. The round windows and bay window let in tons of light and when positioned in a sweet spot will offer fantastic views. The size of this dome allows it to get pretty warm when heated - we’ve used both electric heaters and a small wood stove and you can be very comfy inside even in winter.

The dome has 7 clear vinyl windows that can be removed and replaced with the included screens in warmer weather. The dome’s entry has a weather-tight zip door and an attachable screen door is included (the outer door can be rolled then the screen is attached via the velco strip.) All triangle panels that do not have windows are lined with Reflectix insulation which we hand cut to size. The reflectix is covered by a hand made, removable 100% cotton covering to enhance the insulation / aesthetics.

What is offered includes one 16’ Pacific Dome kit, which is one Tropical Plus shelter covering with seven round window openings, a large clear vinyl bay window, and detachable zipper roof, one 16’ Pacific Dome .92” galvanized steel frame with hardware, seven clear vinyl screens, seven screens with original Pacific Dome carrying / storage bag, and a screen door attachable by velcro over the door opening.

The cover material is called Tropical Plus which was created for more humid climates - it is waterproof and very easy to clean! The covering has grommets all around the bottom perimeter where it is screwed into the base. It can be removed and folded, with the roof first (which is attached by zippers) and then the perimeter. There is a small tear in the covering above the bay window (from a small branch falling after a heavy storm) which has been patched using a temporary tape, and some of the covering has a bit of discoloration from age, but overall its in really beautiful shape! Included is a patch kit from Pacific Domes, containing another strip of temporary repair tape and a piece of vinyl for a permanent repair which would require a heat gun. Pacific Domes provides instructions on this and we have not been able to actually get to this yet.

We are the original owners and we cut the Reflectix and sewed the liner ourselves. The dome has been well cared for and cleaned regularly, and we are only selling this to upgrade to a larger geodesic structure, so we hope this can go to a good new home!! From a smoke, pet, and fragrance free environment. The carpet, pillows and furniture are not included, but are available upon request.

Buyer is responsible for dis-assembling the dome and loading the moving vehicle. We are available to assist and guide with this process apart from the heavy labor. Asking $2500 or best offer.
