Two-story CABIN (HUNTING LOUNGE)_German style_Post & Beam

I built this CABIN on my property, and it served as week-end retreat in the forest. Since the lot is sold, the cabin will be sold and relocated. As it CURRENTLY STANDS it has been appraised at $38K by a post and beam builder. The fortunate buyer at $10K will most likely invest much less than$38K to restore the bricks, slab and vertical siding.
I make no claims regarding conformance to local building standards.

The design is based on German style barns that have lasted for centuries: brick walls and decay-resistant WHITE OAK BEAMS. Hand built MORTISE AND TENON post and beam construction using 6" x 6" beams.
Two story, 10 feet x 20 feet.
Second story floor made from 2x6 yellow pine tongue and groove flooring - very beautiful and bright.
The green window casings are made from antique cast iron fireplace surrounds.
Metal circular staircase from THE IRON SHOP proved to be very elegant yet practical solution for a compact space.
On the first floor there are wide sliding doors on the side, in addition to the entrance door of red mahogany with custom-made decor.

On the second floor except two windows there is a special door-like opening which can serve for bringing large-size furniture in, like it is done in old houses in Europe. It also might serve as additional opening to let the light in.

Metal roof is supported by conventional trusses.
Was built in 2014.

In order to move the construction,
- bricks will have to be removed and re-installed using new bricks or other type of walls on the new place
- post & beam FRAME (see the LAST picture) is to be moved and landed on a concrete slab at the new location.
- Wooden walls and floor of the second floor can be moved together with frame
- Roof needs to be removed and re-installed using same parts.

Currently checking to locate potential mover companies, who the purchaser can then work with.
No transportation is included in the price.

This is a UNIQUE construction by style and design. It it is unlikely that similar building exists anywhere in the Upstate. It would compliment any estate in the function of a mini-house, hunting cabin, man's cave, leisure house, sleep over house or party place.
NOTE:
- Only building is for sale (no land) - it must be professionally moved
-Interior pieces on the pictures are not for sale. The Construction is currently empty and ready to be moved
- There is NO bathroom or water in the construction
- The heating we used was a wood stove
