HEATING & COOLING
The house was built initially to live by the beach so there isn’t any heating or cooling. The insulation is dense spray foam insulation that was professionally installed/sprayed so it has a high R value of R-24.5 and is very temperate. The casement windows also offer excellent cross ventilation, along with the turbine style ceiling fan.
I also have a Dyson Hot+Cool fan that heats the house up quickly on those colder nights.
There is wall/window space in the great room that would fit a mini-split unit easily.
