If storage is what you want, if storage is what you need, then this tiny house on wheels should be a perfect fit. Built on a tandem axle trailer, this 24-foot long house is filled with storage options and organizational touches. And with a listing price of less than a modern SUV, it won’t last long.

In terms of construction, the house is traditionally wood framed with an earthy deep blue and khaki paint scheme. The siding is painted tongue & groove which is complimented by 4’ x 8’ sheets of painted plywood. The house has seven windows plus a sliding glass door entry. There is ample natural light flooding the home. The THOW has R21 insulation in the ceiling and R13 throughout the rest of the house.

Once inside you are immediately met with a living area complete with a custom couch these seats three comfortably and has three deep drawers underneath. On the wall is a series of 13 cubbies tucked beneath a junior loft that is perfect for a double or junior mattress. There is also a linen closet right next to the couch as well.

The walls are 4’ x 8’ sheets of birch plywood with batten strips and painted a soothing gray. The trim throughout the house is white and the floors are bamboo. The ceiling is also 4’ x 8’ sheets of birch plywood painted white. Lighting is provided by LED partially recessed lights.

Turning left through the entry you find yourself in the kitchen area which is much more classy than one would expect. The countertop is sizable and made from Maple. There is an under-counter sink, base cabinet storage, and even a hanging cabinet, all painted a clean white. The cooking is done on a two-burner propane range. There is a fridge directly across from the kitchen workspace that is tucked neatly into the stairs leading up to the sleeping loft. Underneath the stairs is also a desk workspace and pull-out storage drawers.

A solid staircase leads up to the master loft which is big enough for a queen-size bed and some room for movement or clothes storage. Perhaps the nicest feature though is the sliding windows beside the loft that allow for ventilation and airflow.

Underneath the master loft is the bathroom which is complete with a shower stall, vanity and sink, and a lovable loo composting toilet. To keep the shower (and kitchen sink) flush with warm water, the house has a Takagi on-demand hot water heater.

The house itself is designed to run off 20-amp but does better and runs more optimally with a 30-amp cord.

Don’t be mistaken. The house isn’t overly fancy. It is soundly built though and has all the accouterments of any size home. It is affordable though and so much so, it may not be here by week’s end.
