This modern farmhouse tiny house wedge design is gorgeous! Built by CK Home Innovations, LLC in Indianapolis, IN, the home is built using a steel frame and resting atop a tandem axle Trailer Made Trailer. The exterior is a composite material that coupled with strips creates a board and batten style. Like so many modern farmhouses the vinyl windows are black framed which makes a quaint contrast between windows and doors and the main home.



Entry into the home is through a sliding glass door, which opens directly into the living area. While a touch smaller than one would expect the living room fits a cozy loveseat with a visible mounted flat screen television. There are task lamps mounted just above the loveseat and the Mitsubishi mini-split AC is just above the loveseat. Because the home is a wedge shape the ceiling height in this portion of this house is right at 9 feet. There are also two windows in this area that couple with the sliding doors gives off tremendous natural light.

The board and batten style continues to the interior of the home and is accented by both wood and metal. With the help of grey-washed vinyl flooring, the tiny house on wheels really is a modern farmhouse with an incredible shabby chic vibe.

Beyond the living area is the kitchen. While also small it is highly functional allowing for a 4-burner gas stove and oven, a mounted microwave, a dishwasher, and even an over/under fridge-freezer. Set into the butcher block countertop is a black sink with a black high arch faucet. In addition to the ‘tools of the trade’, the kitchen also has craftsman-style base cabinetry and hanging cabinets. There is also a blue-grey subway tile backsplash and a single-window above the sink.

Next to the kitchen and beneath the sleeping loft is the bathroom, kept private by a sliding barn door. The bathroom is generously sized and uses the space well. Inside is a rectangle-shaped sink, a flush commode, a stacking washer and dryer, and a large shower stall that features white tile with a mosaic inlay accent strip. While the showerhead is removable it is a large rain faucet, perfect for a luxurious shower. Over the commode and hidden inside a cabinet is the tankless hot water heater which keeps the water warm for both the bathroom and the kitchen.

Leading up to the sleeping loft is a staircase with wire railing that leads to a queen-sized sleeping space with two large windows, recessed LED lighting, and a geometrical design safety partition.
