I built this for my own use -- got the shell up, woodstove installed and that is about it. Haven't been back to do much since the end of 2006. Landlady died; need to get it moved outta' there. There is a 24' fifth wheel frame (RV style) right next to it which goes with the deal. Buyer will have to raise home up AND secure it to the trailer at their own expense.

Parts of this home come from a large 11-1/2' slide-in truck camper and I still have all the original components (refrigerator, stove/oven, sink, counter, over-sized passive propane heater, etc.). The bathroom is re-used as it was in the original camper as are all the built-ins = cupboards, drawers, closets, etc. The dining area is completely opened up with prefab dinnette from a restaurant slid into position.

I'm a carpenter by trade. All the work done is top shelf even though many of the materials are recycled (kinda' my thing and this was a pay-as-you-go project). The cathedral ceiling/roof is insulated with R19 fiberglass and all the original camper walls are insulated with two layers of blue foam board for R15 total. Other walls still need to be insulated and the ceiling interior finish has yet to be installed. The roof is used metal over deluxe roofing underlayment over a solid deck of 7/16" OSB (just like a regular house).

The floor is insulated with 3-1/2" of white styrofoam and has 1/2" plywood on the bottom to keep the critters out. 2x4 floor joists run front to back and the floor frame is currently supported with three 4x6s on edge over concrete blocks.
