Tiny Home near Cabo. Plenty of land for dreamers!

Tiny Mexican home, near Cabo San Lucas. About 10 to 15 minutes to beautiful beaches, surfing, snorkeling, sun-tanning, etc. 5 minutes to a movie theater. 5 blocks (walking distance) to major grocery store. Quiet neighborhood. The yard is about 430 sq. meters (about 4700 sq. feet or .106 acre). More than enough room for a bigger house, a small farm, chickens, rental properties, etc. Live in the tiny house, then build your dream. Or just live in it, as is, and make the yard stunning, while enjoying the incredible food, nature, and people!

I do apologize for the state of the house and yard. I'm currently building a privacy wall around the yard, then have a longer term vision for the property (straw bale construction). Maintaining the yard is a low priority, knowing what I plan to do with the property. Sadly, my US-Based business has taken a substantial hit and I'm finding myself needing to return to the states.

The house is small and simple, but very well built, strong, and dry. It has A/C, small propane stove, refrigerator, etc. The house could be wired for solar. I'd happily leave behind my solar system for an extra charge ($3,500.00 extra for 8 panels (1800W total), plus 3000 W inverter and about 6.5kWh of LiFePO4 battery storage).

Yard is currently fenced for my dog. There's a second backyard which is about 3 feet lower in elevation. Plan was to convert that area into a covered outdoor patio with small kitchen area and a natural swimming pool. Upper yard I've been planning to build a 2 story straw bale home. There are incredible views to the ocean and mountains, from the second floor.

In general, the yard is large enough for most any of your dreams. Plenty of room for a sizeable garden and chickens. Or, go more conventional. Plenty of space.

The house is in an area called San Jose Viejo (Old San Jose). It's a middle-class mostly Mexican neighborhood (though, many gringos are scattered throughout). 2 of the 3 neighbors also speak fluent English, if Spanish isn't a strong suit (I speak like a 5-year old. I can communicate anything, but it's clunky). The neighborhood has everything you could need, from shopping (A City Club is a 2 minute drive, as well as a large grocery store about 5 blocks away (walking distance, though it's a steep walk down, then back up).

Downtown San Jose del Cabo is about a 10 to 15 minute drive (8 minutes with no traffic). Traffic is, admittedly, an issue quite often. I have a beat-up 4X4 and frequently take a well maintained, local dirt road through an old riverbed. It's much faster and more direct, but may be hard on a smaller car. The dirt road starts 2 blocks away and heads directly downtown.

Downtown San Jose del Cabo is a beautiful, historic Mexican town with INCREDIBLE restaurants, an art district, live music, a weekly organic farmer's market (with well over 100 different vendors). A very lively and vibrant place to live. Loads of surfing options, golf, horseback riding, hiking, swimming, tennis, etc. Basically, all the stuff. It's awesome here. I've been in the area for about 17 years and dread leaving, but ... Daddy's gotta eat! My loss could be your gain!

Ah, the second backyard has a nice, dry storage area, as well as a small second bathroom. It's plumbed, has water and electricity. It just needs a toilet and some small refined details. It's an incomplete piece of a larger vision.

This post is a bit of a lark. I'm hoping to find someone with the dream of living abroad. Strong, reliable, fiber optic internet, for those looking to telecommute. I'm an open book and will present the house and area honestly. It's arguably a fixer upper, and a bit off the beaten path, but I believe that's reflected in the price.
