“We went into this project as a fun idea to see if there could be an Austin market for it,” states the designer. “The tiny house quickly took on an entire theme of its own, as I envisioned a vintage and classy feel - a bit dark and cozy in the smaller spaces, but keeping the central space bright because the lighting is just so perfect in there! The craftsmen who executed the details did impeccable work. We didn’t cut any corners, using all high-end materials, and I even snuck in some antique finds from local shops to ensure it would be truly elevated and unique. I picture it out on a gorgeous Texas ranch, surrounded by wildflowers, longhorns in the background. A perfect little getaway. I recommend playing Jazz on the Bluetooth speaker to really get the full moody speakeasy effect,” she laughs.
