The Divine Diversion

My labor of love won't fit in my new yard and neighborhood. I hope to find someone who will enjoy it as much as I loved designing and building it.

-7.3 ft. wide x 14.7 ft long x 12 ft. tall
-6 ft. long kitchen with a undermount sink and boat-style foot pump (cold water only, with a gray-water drain)
-new energy-efficient undercounter refrigerator
-drop-in alcohol stove burner (non-pressurized design)
-30 amp electric with 9 outlets, 3 lights, and a ceiling fan
-white metal roofing (great for keeping it cool in summer!) and recycled metal siding
- energy-efficient 3 ft. x 3 ft. windows and full-windowed door
- a double-size loft bed (with newer and very comfortable mattress) is 5 ft. above the floor, and a dinette below converts into another double-size bed.
- a 6 ft. long built-in well-padded bench doubles as a bed.
- a 3.5 ft. wide shower area with a 3 gallon pressurized (solar) sprayer and gray-water drain to a bucket under the trailer
- a 3.5 ft. wide closet area including a composting toilet
- metal framing (12 inches on center) with hurricane clips for the walls and roof (wood framing for floor joists) with polyiso and polyethylene insulation to avoid thermal bridging
- lots of storage space in bins underneath the dinette benches, sofa/bench, closet, kitchen, 3.5 ft. x 7 ft. storage loft, and aerodynamic shed over the hitch area.

All of this is built on a 5,000+ lb. single drop axle trailer that I bought used (with no title) and had side extensions welded on and new tires put on. I recently had it towed by a transport company from a Chicago suburb where I built it to my brothers' house in Appleton, WI (near Green Bay, where I was recently transferred for my job). It has never been weighed, but is likely 3000-4000 lbs. It traveled well, but best under 50-55 mph.
