About

1998 Ford Econoline E350 14' box truck has been thoughtfully and expertly converted into a fully-functional and aesthetically-tuned stealth RV. Travel in your own comfortable and stylish studio apartment - equipped with bed, sink, toilet, desk, miles of storage, and more. Why rent when you can drive your own tiny house around the bay area?

Park anywhere, sleep anywhere, chill during work breaks, have a dance party - entirely possible as I have done this for the past two years while living/working throughout the bay. Am now working remotely full-time and no longer need the vehicle - selling so that someone else can enjoy this convenient, portable, stellar housing option.

Basics:
* Clean title
* 237,000 miles on odometer
* 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine (ask anyone who knows these engines, it has barely been broken in)
* Registered as an RV, not a truck (cheaper registration, and no weight restrictions)
* Hoses and seals upgraded to accommodate Biodiesel fuel (YES, Biodiesel!)

Living features:
* Access through the cab (no need to leave vehicle to enter living space!)
* Custom-designed full-size murphy fold-down bed (with bonus fold-down dining table/desk!)
* Foot pump operated sink (with removable fresh + greywater tanks)
* 10' custom countertop (wood surface for working, formica for food prep)
* Interior standing height 6' 5" (in the middle; obviously less clearance under the cleverly mounted lockers...)
* Toilet (in separate bathroom!) - Thetford Porta Potti 'Curve' portable unit (with floor mount, easy to empty and fill)
* 12V camping refrigerator (ample storage for one week of groceries, including tall containers)
* Numerous storage options - cabinets, lockers, drawers (all using recycled furniture, with many artfully stenciled)
* 8' copper pipe for hanging clothing (can support an entire wardrobe!)
* LED interior lighting (providing a variety of color options, including my favorite 'Virgin America' cabin lighting effect)

Other enhancements:
* Roof-mounted solar panels (rated wattage of 185W, plus tons of room for expansion/further modification) charging two Lifeline deep cycle marine batteries
* ProNautic 1215P marine-grade power conversion/management unit
* 12V power distribution throughout (for small appliances, chargers, etc.)
* Wi-Fi smart repeater/range extender (Amped Wireless unit, allows stealth public Wi-Fi access)
* Insulated on all sides (cool, warm, quiet)

Mechanically sound - just passed smog, fully serviced/checked. Includes ALL maintenance records, recent repairs including:
* Dec 2017: New fuel pump, fuel filter, high-pressure line; fuel heater repaired; coolant, oil, air filter checked - $1650
* Dec 2017: New batteries (Napa Legend 7565, with 75-month warranty) - $300 (both replaced)
* Apr 2017: New tires (Cooper Discoverer HT3 - 75,000 mile warranty, only 4,000 miles used) - $1200 (all six replaced)
* Dec 2016: New headlamps - $150
* Jul 2016: New A/C condenser + system charged - $450
* Jun 2016: New throttle assembly - $1100
(Please check manufacturer websites for warranty details)

Known issues:
* Interior (cab) heating does not work, but this has never been an issue since the engine warms up the cab just fine on longer drives.
* Damage to top corner (common since you're going to eventually hit a tree or a sign while parking) - that's what happened to the previous owner); consider it "pre-damaged for your convenience".
* Needs some caulking (note: doesn't leak)
* Also needs a paint job - was going to do this, but really wanted to leave to the new owner (you choose the color/style, put your own logo on it, add custom mud flaps, etc.)

Vehicle is fantastic for festivals/road trips, but I believe it is most optimized for urban living. MUCH less conspicuous than an RV, MUCH cheaper than a Sprinter, MUCH more room than a Transit.

Serious inquiries only, no tolerance for lowball offers as this vehicle is absolutely worth the asking price. Thanks for your interest!
