Solar Gypsy Wagon

This beloved solar-powered gypsy wagon is in search of inhabitants. It has been my home for the last 5 months and is being sold to help fund the completion of Middle Tennessee's first earthship home. It has been a very convenient mobile shelter for festivals and events, and also an excellent space for affordable full-time living within the city. I pay $50 a month to park in my friend's back yard in the city of Nashville with access to their kitchen and bathroom included. I have been scouting around and found several people all willing to host this wagon for under $200 a month.
It would make a great guest house or addition for a growing family. It could also be used as a nightly rental through a site like airbnb.com

This home was built by Marcus Sisk, a graduate of the Earthship Biotecture Academy. Marcus is working to develop and spread sustainable housing alternatives in Middle TN and the Southeast region, and is currently finishing his own Earthship home in Gallatin, TN

The roof, siding and structural elements are all made from brand new materials. Reclaimed wood was used for trim and decorative elements. It features beveled cypress siding, cedar interior,
a custom stained glass window, operable side windows with hand-made screened window inserts, and a solid bamboo floor. It is built onto a utility trailer for easy mobility and fastened with Simpson hurricane clips. It includes a 100w solar power system with a sealed deep cycle battery. The wiring is set up for 12v DC but could be easily modified for AC use. The advantage is that DC appliances run right off the battery without an inverter making it more efficient and more reliable. It features a single circuit with standard wiring, four light fixtures equipped with super-efficient DC LED light bulbs, and one 12v DC outlet for charging electronics, phone, computer, etc.
