About
Called by many “a tree house on wheels” this tiny house captures the pioneering spirit, echoes the forests of Appalachia and nods to a simpler time. For those who value true craftsmanship and sustainability, there is no better addition. Use it as the perfect traveling home, a work of art on an equally beautiful property, a guest house/office or simply a place to escape your everyday bustle. This house was intentionally crafted to bring you closer to nature, breathable by design and simplistic in its function, this is a shelter that inspires.
This house is road worthy, with almost 4,000 miles under its belt and weighing in at 6,200 pounds, it tows like a dream. Built at the foothills of Appalachia, much of the exposed material is locally and sustainably harvested from standing-deads in the area. A nostalgic treasure for anyone from the East coast and unique for those hailing from the West.
Many tiny homes are large and heavy, making them unrealistic for long-term travel. We opted for less square footage and no loft to create an open layout with high ceilings, allowing for a spacious feeling inside and plenty of clearance when driving.
