The outside of the home is a very clever design with an entry on the short end and a cantilevered above the bathroom allowing for more headroom in the loft. The trailer is manufactured by Tritank and construction is traditional lumber framing. The siding of the small house is cedar lap siding with green trim and a small inlay of green corrugated metal. The roof is a metal one and the home has 7 windows allowing for a copious amount of natural light which helps make the space seem even bigger than it is.

Once inside the home, you are immediately in the living area. With walls clad in birch ply, it is a clean interior using 1x2” strips to cover the plywood seems. The flooring inside the THOW is LVL flooring in a light grey while the ceilings are standard drywall. The interior lighting is recessed LED. Again, very clean!

The living room merges directly into the kitchen space which has a triple door set base cabinet, a stainless steel sink, and Formica countertop. The space also has a microwave, a mini fridge, and a remote control ceiling fan. The space (as well as the entire living space) is insulated with R15 batting. Dishwater and shower water is kept warm by a propane on-demand hot water heater.

Moving down the floorspace is the private bathroom, kept so by a pocket door built with a Chevron pattern. The bathroom itself has a fiberglass shower insert in the corner of the bathroom situated next to the dry flush commode. The bathroom also has a medicine cabinet with a mirror and a single wide sink with a wash basin. A pocket door in the bathroom leads into the small storage area where the 50 amp panel box, backup Jackery system, hot water heater, and wiring schematic are.

Above the bathroom is the sleeping loft, accessible by a ladder from the kitchen. The loft is quite fun with an accent wall covered with birch tree wallpaper and thick, grey berber carpet. The loft has sliding windows on both sides of the loft allowing for an excellent cross breeze to help keep you comfortable at night, or during those cool afternoon naps!
