At 250 sq.ft. this Alabama Tiny Homes tiny house on wheels is 29 feet of cozy living. Tucked inside an upside-down ‘L-shaped’ skeleton as a 5th wheel style unit, the home features a cantilevered bedroom, a sizeable kitchen, a full bathroom, and a sitting area.



The exterior of the THOW is clad in both grey vinyl siding and an inlay of deep red cedar shake. The house is constructed using traditional framing lumber and is insulated for both cold winters and hot summers. The roofing is galvanized metal and there are 10 windows for tremendous natural light. Once inside the full pane glass door, you are staring right at the kitchen. Aside from a countertop, the kitchen boasts a refrigerator, an electric stove/oven, a stainless steel sink, base cabinetry, and upper cabinets. The kitchen also has a Dickinson Marine heater that straddles it and the living area. The stove is in case the electricity goes out in colder weather.

To the left of the kitchen is the living area which can fit a sofa and a flatscreen television on the wall. The walls of the home - including the living room - is white shiplap. Continuing to move towards the rear of the trailer is the bathroom. A sizeable space, the bathroom features a flush commode, a 30-gallon hot water heater, a shower stall, and a stacking washer and dryer. It can also be closed off from the rest of the house with a hinged door.

At the opposite end of the tiny house - situated above the 5th wheel hitch - is the bedroom. While it isn’t huge, it does fit a double bed and even has a small closet. It is a private space walled off from the rest of the home. It also isn’t a loft but it is accessed instead by just 3 full-size stairs. It is very convenient and easy to enter and exit.
