The Shou Sugi ban (charred cedar) has faded dramatically price reflects. Easy fix if you’re familiar with charring wood or you could possibly matte black stain over the Shou Sugi ban.
It appears they did not gloss the Shou Sugi ban after charred and it is now flaking off.
