Two Lofts Is Always Better Than One

Purchasing a tiny house on wheels should not involve sacrificing luxury or functionality and this brand new 20’ long, tandem axle tiny house on wheels is a great example of clever design and execution. Best of all, it can be your new home for less than the cost of a year’s college tuition!

Currently in West Virginia the home is poised for all temperatures as the floor is insulated with 2” Dow Styrofoam R10 while the walls are R15 fiberglass batting and the ceiling is spray foam. Additionally, the home is heated with an Amana electric mini-split HVAC 9000 BTU (220v. / 20amp). The entire home on wheels is wired for 50-amp.




Upon first look the home is cute as a button, so to speak. Built on a trailer manufactured by Quality Steel & Aluminum Products in Elkhart, Indiana (GVWR = 9850lbs), clad in stained T1-11 Fir siding, and topped off with standing seam metal roofing, the 160 sq.ft. house is loaded with 7 windows, a solid front entry door, and even a overhang for weather protection.

Once you step across the threshold you are facing a custom couch with 2 large drawers underneath and a gorgeous Black Walnut table that can be raised and lowered by hinged legs to be a fully functional dining area or a coffee table. To the left of the couch is the kitchen area which features a 24” brushed stainless steel LP gas range, a 24” brushed stainless steel microwave, and a 24” x 60” brushed stainless steel refrigerator! The kitchen also has Black Walnut countertop, a deep basin stainless steel sink, faucet sprayer, and ample lower and upper cabinet space. The backsplash is faux marble subway tile and the floor throughout the house is vinyl laminate plank flooring. The refrigerator does stand across from the main kitchen work and storage space but it is housed between the loft steps and a roll out pantry.

The stairs leading up to the main loft conceal 6 storage drawers and two hinged-door cubbies. This tiny house is loaded with storage possibilities!




The sleeping loft located at the top of the stairs fits a queen size mattress and despite having a sloped ceiling, offers ample room for a great night’s rest. The loft also has a gliding window for circulation and a view of the morning sun! Opposite the main loft is a slightly smaller (38” x 84”) storage loft that is accessible by a ladder that conveniently hands and locks out of the way when not in use.

Below the main sleeping loft is the bathroom that offers a full size flush commode, a 36” fiberglass shower stall, and a 31” 3-drawer bathroom vanity. There is open storage on either side of the vanity, subway tile that matches the kitchen, an LED overhead light, and even a vent that circulates air to and from outside the home. The bathroom shower and sink as well as the kitchen sink are connected to a Camplux 3.18 propane tankless/on-demand hot water heater.

With LED lights throughout the house, a ceiling fan in the center of it all, and more storage than most houses twice its size, this little Turtle Dove tiny house on wheels is ready for you to call her home. At only 9560 lbs. she can be towed by a half-ton pickup truck and move from West Virginia to wherever you want to call home!
