Whimsical. That’s the word that comes to mind when describing this luxury listing for a tiny house with slide-out feature.

This double axle trailer is a beautiful home at 18’ long and 8.5’ wide. The lower portion of the home is cypress lap siding painted a misty blue while the top portion is cypress “gingerbread” shingles. The trim is painted brown to match the upper part of the home while the door is accented in white, as well as the windows on the lower level. The home features 8 windows for excellent natural lighting and is made from SIP sections.

The interior of the tiny house has a vintage feel to it with deep, rich colors, warm textures, and interesting materials. The entry opens up to a sitting area that has both a loveseat and a full-sized couch. The eye is drawn to the floor though with its unique, hand-painted pattern on reclaimed hickory. The loveseat very cleverly becomes a table for working or sharing meals. It is a very inviting spot in a film noir, machismo sort of way. Above the loveseat is a storage loft that is excellent for off-season clothing or holiday decorations, etc.

Across from the couch is the kitchen area which has a countertop of reclaimed cherry, a stainless steel sink, and a mosaic tile backsplash. The kitchen also has a miniature fridge and upper cabinets for dishes and such. The cabinets are made of reclaimed cypress.

At the door that leads from the kitchen into the bathroom is a swivel-mounted television with a PS2. It is a clever use of space and design. The ladder in the kitchen area leads up to a queen size loft that has ample space for a good night’s rest.

Through the door in the kitchen is a fully functional bathroom with a flush commode, an oval wash basin with a cabinet, and a fiberglass shower stall. Behind the wash basin is more glass mosaic tile only lends to the cozy feeling of the space.

Although it is a traditionally built tiny house on wheels it carries heavy RV influence including a propane gas inlet, a sewage outlet, a water inlet, and a 30amp pigtail for electric current. The home is a brilliantly thought out design.
