A truly one of a kind Tiny Home. Originally a 1947 Spartan Manor travel trailer that has been totally restored with every attention to detail. The shell is 1947, but ALL systems, including plumbing, electric, windows, insulation, walls, flooring, and cabinetry have been totally replaced. This home is FULLY solar powered, ALL electric, and designed for full time living without the need for alternative energy sources. You will not find another Tiny House or converted travel trailer with this much solar and the ability to be *fully* off grid. Key features:

We built this Tiny Home with a desire to challenge ourselves to live more minimally, lessen our carbon footprint, and give our children bigger adventures by living smaller. After remodeling the unit, our family of four full-timed in it for one year and have tested every aspect of the system. There is enough solar power to live comfortably using all appliances (yes even the AC in Arizona and the heater in Montana) for full time living. Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to our Tiny Home (we have another project in queue), but would love to pass our unique creation on to the right person.
We currently are not offering financing, but this Tiny Home is RVIA compliant and therefore qualifies for typical RV loans. Delivery may be an option depending on circumstance, and currently the Tiny House is located in Tucson, Arizona.

Spartan Manor History:
After the Second World War, Americans just wanted to get away from it all, and the recreational trailer industry really took off. While today the name Spartan is unfamiliar to most, in the 1940s and 50s its products were widely acknowledged to be the best-built and most lavishly equipped on the market. The Spartan Trailer company was launched in 1945 by wealthy industrialist J. Paul Getty, who also owned Spartan Aircraft. Spartan Aircraft built a high-quality, all-metal, twin-engine “Executive” aircraft. In 1948 the Spartan Aircraft factory was converted to the Spartan Manor factory, making solid aluminum framed and skinned trailers, both light and strong. They soon earned a reputation as the “Cadillac” of the industry, and its price tag – often as much as the cost of a small conventional house – reflected the quality of its materials and construction.
