Muted out in a bluish-grey paint, this skoolie conversion listing is a fine work/play/adventure bus for your off-grid excitement. A 2004 International Diesel T444E is a beast with its Alison transmission with only 130000 miles.

The bus has been modified with the removal of almost all original windows and replaced with RV-style gliding windows (tinted too!). The front caution and stop lights as well as the typical black schoolbus trim have also been painted to give a very stealthy look. Atop the roof are three 300 amp solar panels. They charge four Battleborn Batteries (200 amp hours) and convert to a Victron energy converter. There is also a Victron DC/DC charger on board to charge the house batteries off the alternator while traveling. Mounted on the side of the bus roof is also a Weboost cell phone signal booster. This tiny house on wheels is completely outfitted for the road; no stone unturned!

Entry to the bus is through an RV door with tinted windows and once in, opens up to the driver’s cockpit. Directly above the dashboard is a mounted flat-screen smart television connected to a Blue Ray/DVD player that serves the living area directly behind the driver’s area. In the living area are four captains chairs with LATCH system and a padded bench that houses the electrical/solar equipment.

The walls inside the bus are white shiplap, the floors are wood plank vinyl, and the furniture and cabinetry are a mix of grey and Sprucestone green.

Midway through the bus is the kitchen on one side, outfitted with a 3-burner gas stove and oven, a stainless steel sink, a microwave, and a Norcold refrigerator. The kitchen also has hanging cabinets, base cabinets, and a butcher block countertop. Across from the kitchen counter is the wood-burning stove. Both the stove and the fridge are the foundations for the walls that separate the bathroom and bedroom from the rest of the bus.

The bathroom is split between both sides of the bus with the Natures Own composting toilet and single vanity with sink on one side of the aisle and the tiled shower stall on the other. Like a more traditional RV, the bus is outfitted with a 100-gallon fresh water tank and two 35-gallon grey water tanks. The water faucets and shower head provide warm water thanks to a Girard tankless hot water heater. That as well as the other gas appliances are fed from two 30-pound propane tanks mounted under the bus.

Last but not least in the footprint of the THOW is the bedroom which has a large mattress deck capable of supporting a queen mattress. Along with the queen mattress is additional loft space to sleep children or provide additional storage. Of course, there is ample storage underneath as well as closet/dresser space in the bedroom making lots of room for clothes.
