Freedom Studio

Freedom Studio is a project in Huntsville, Texas in collaboration with a small and owner built home community.

The Studio is in a city block where all of the home owners have built their own homes. The community shares tools, electricity, materials, knowledge, and a beer or two. This lot is the last parcel in the area for building in this community.

The Lot is .165 acres or 7187.40 Square Feet. The lot has sewer and water already at the land and with trenches dug to the studio.

The studio is enclosed but not completed on the interior. It can be used for storage or a crash pad while completing the project. There is room on the lot for a second larger house and code allows for a second larger home to be built on the lot.
The studio is approximately 400 square foot with two porches and an upstairs loft.

Other lots in the area that have not even been cleared have sold for $33,000 so you are getting a cleared lot with water and sewer hook up, access to electricity, the studio and enough room to build a second home for less than the average price in the area for an uncleared lot.

Footing foundations holes have been dug for a larger house and the lot has been surveyed. If you would like the plans I made and that were permitted I am happy to give them to you.

This is a rare chance to build a small home inside a city limits.

I have also spent a great deal of time collecting materials and they are free for the taking on the lot to build your home. I would like to offer this to someone who can appreciate it.

Unfortunately I have a family member who is ill in Arizona and have had to leave the project. After some time to assess I realize it will be best to let the property go to someone who can really use it and I hope to build here in Arizona.

Huntsville is about an hour from Houston, an hour from College Station and is home to many artists and builders.
