With that said it cost me $1500 to move from SC to GA, a recent estimate said it would be about $8000 from GA to CA if that helps.
While some companies will pick up at units location in Ga- they may not deliver to yours!
Some charge hundreds more than others to move(ITS UP TO “Y.O.U” to save YOU money!!!!
Cost generally increase with distance! Every zip code has a different price!!!!!

Moving*
Has already survived 2 highway and 2 local moves.! Tiny house was moved to its present location using a low boy flat bed truck with two brave individuals. I do not recall who but companies accustomed to move mobile homes are best equipped. It was put on and taken off by a crane which cost about $600 using Black River Crane in Savannah.
I have provided all info they would need. Length, width, height, and weight!!!!!!! 20x10x11, about 6,500 pounds.
That being said here is contact info for a hauler that will pretty much go anywhere and the nearest crane support.
“(Corey” at Heavy Haulers (856) 444-8864- to move
! Black River Crane & Rigging (912) 667-3831- to lift
This Tiny is an about 90% completed-
What’s left to do- wiring for AC/Heat and Washer/Dryer is already in Wall- you just need to connect outlet for 8 gauge wire.
Power panel inside is done but you will need to connect to external power if you choose to go on grid( you would have to do this regardless to what tiny from another state you bought to comply with code)
Water lines are run inside walls and are connected as far as I know but you will need to connect to external water source. Connection box comes with Tiny so you don’t need to buy one.
You will likely want to change the shower material as my uncle had a temporary setup in there before he passed away. (He was working on shower/ plumbing during this time. ) Thus pricing reflects this.
You may likely want to change the roof material and add pitch/incline (My uncle knew he had to move Tiny so did not add pitch to roof to conform to DOT transport rules. He intended to do at permanent location but sadly passed before that happened. ) Thus I have reduced price to accommodate a change of roof material .
This Tiny is a stationary Tiny Home . You can insure it as a custom tumbleweed tiny house, or place on a permanent foundation and seek a deed title from your county/ state.
It can easily be mounted to a trailer if you wish it to be mobile. It is a 20L x 10 W x 11H. and weighs about 6,500 at last weigh in. You can obtain a title using serial number if you mount it to a trailer.
Frame built with 5/8 CDX sheathing and 3/4 CDX decking using 2x4 and 2x6, galvanized fasteners. As far as I know Standard Fiberglass batting used for insulation between 1x8 and 2x4.
It was built in 2020, using about 85% reclaimed material by my uncle to get himself through some hard times , and who was attempting to teach me some carpentry skills while doing so. He was one of those jack of all trades and master of none kind of people. He just felt a man should be free to live and free to live off his own two hands.
I initially purchased the frame to build a garden house and later gave it to my uncle - who to the best his ability, built it to get himself through some hard times with and a beer in one hand and tool in another.
Home was initially intended to be both on and off grid so plumbing and wiring has been set up with this intent.
At present -set up more for Off -Grid Living -can go on -grid with minor adjustments and can easily be moved using a forklift ( so I am told)
Tiny comes with a living area featuring some ship lap, ample storage-which can double as twin size sleeping area; a full galley kitchen with subway tile, propane gas cooktop, fridge, great cabinet space, 3-in-1 breakfast Maker( coffee maker, frying pan, and toaster oven, in new condition included) good counter space , usb enabled outlet to quickly charge your devices and a sink deep enough to bathe an infant or clean your latest catch of the day. Side window for light with slide open for serving outdoors. Three windows on main level, At least two in loft. Lots of light in this tiny.
Oak laminate wood look flooring. Great head space so no worries about head bumps.
Main bathroom
has sink, with medicine cabinet, outlets for shaving & grooming, shower, and nature’s head compost toilet.( Arguable the best on the market. Easy to use, easy to clean, one of the best smelling compost toilet out there so I hear.
Bathroom has room for toiletries. Comes with small waste can that has built in toilet cleaner. ( new-included)
Kitchen
There is an additional space to place a stackable washer dryer or washer/dryer combo. Laminate and tile countertops. Deep sink with goose neck faucet, easy to clean two burner propane cooktop. Two tiled counters for preparation, one laminate surface top. Cabinets have drawer and shelf space.
The loft upstairs has access to a working window, and enough space to comfortably place even a king sized mattress. Good headspace- allows even a 6 ft adult to sit upright, a child can stand.
*Power/Electricity
Designed as on and off grid home, tiny is 90% there. Was previously being powered with a 2000wh generator. ( can be included)
The generator is continuously charged via 4 solar panels( at least 1 solar panel included with all the attachments) 2 were previously used.
It was designed to provide almost unlimited power off grid using a mppt charger, inverter( not included),
an Krieger 4000 watt inverter ( not included) , and two 100ah 12v with built in BMS-3000-5000 deep cycle rechargeable Battle Born batteries. ( not included) with 4 Newpowa 100watt Monocrystalline solar panels(1- included and comes with mounting brackets/ braces, connectors /adapters. And a 6 string combiner box(included) which will allow you to expand from 4 panels to six for faster charging.
FYI- my uncle only needed one and was able to keep fridge powered, make himself meals and heat water to bathe without running out of power using the 2000 wh Solar generator. He was a wild man so that may or may not work for you. Feel free to finish out electrical to your personal needs.
Solar panels not installed to allow for safe transport*
I have attached a diagram pic in photos for planned set-up if you choose to continue his original plans. ( found online)
Gas/Propane*
Designed to use a 12x20- two burner built in gas stove cooktop (included), and an indoor Excel gas tankless water
heater( not included). To keep warm my uncle originally planned to get one of those cute pot belly wood burning stoves but later balked at the price and said he wanted to use a Mr. Heater F232000 MH9BX Buddy 4,000-9,000-BTU Indoor-Safe Portable Propane Radiant Heater ( not included) which he never purchased and just kept using the smaller Mr. Heater- little buddy. (Is included) which I thought was a little scary.
Water*
Sadly my uncle passed away before completing the water set up more, but my loss is your gain so- price is cheap to allow you to finish out incomplete things with your own preferences. Walls are plumbed with water lines. Shower and sinks are hooked up to lines.
Designed to feed from two 500 gallon poly-Mart rain water barrels through a n iSpring RCC7 filtration system toward a electric pump(not included) for supply . FYI- if you have a gravity fed supply, you may not need a pump as was the case with my uncle.
Diagram for rainwater system included in photos.(found on internet)
Refuse water to go in easily removable 300 gallon grey water tank( not included) under house.
FYI- My uncle lived off a 55 drum outside , three 7- gal inside containers .( one unused of 3 included)
Pvc pipes under house removed for safe transport*
Waste*
Tiny comes with Natures Head composting toilet. It is widely accepted as one of the best in terms of comfort, ease of use and eliminating smells. ( the waste itself comes out looking no different than wet dirt and smells very earthy but not like waste.) Waste can be placed in plastic bag and put in standard disposal or as was the case with my uncle- reused as compost in a nearby garden he used to grow plants that naturally repelled mosquitoes.
Specs for Toilet are included in photos.
My uncle caught and grew most of his food so he did not generate much solid waste with the exception of copious amounts of beer cans which thankfully he did recycle….. and then used that money to buy more beer! Nevertheless, there is space in Tiny for a small waste bin . He used his for laundry.
This item is used, I make no warranty stated or implied as to this Tiny house. Have made minor cosmetic updates. (my uncles choice of colors might scare anyone so I have toned them down and replaced all appliances with new ones)
I have disclosed all KNOWN information in this post.
Can provide original receipt for purchase of frame. A receipt of purchase and or a bill of sale only if you purchase. There is no title to speak of. Again, if you mount to trailer, you can get a title
If you put on perm foundation you can get a title deed.
Can be insured in current state as a custom tumbleweed or as a recreational storage unit
Can be insured as a traditional tiny house as all mobile tiny houses are- as a vehicle if a trailer is added.
All information in listing is from an observed aspect and a little googling.
The only questions I can answer are really perhaps where to find cheaper materials to finish Tiny out as was my role with the build.
Optional Convenience items:
1- Mr Heater F215100 , little buddy 3800- btu indoor safe propane heater
1.3 gallon Collapsible Plastic bucket
A couple Collapsible Bowls
