My wife and I designed and built this 24' home right here in our driveway in Western North Carolina. It is completely custom made, all the cabinetry and stained glass we did here in our shop, hand cut cedar shingles on the gable, wormy maple counter top, walnut, alder and cypress in the trim and cabinetry. It is well insulated with rockwool and very sturdy. We didn't cut corners in making this a unique, durable, efficient home that feels great to live in.
You really have to be in it to appreciate how comfortable it is. It feels very open, lots of light, and cozy, with everything you need to live comfortably close at hand. Pioneer 12,000 btu mini-split, 4 burner stainless GE range with with vented microwave over, Rinnai on demand propane water heater, hickory engineered hardwood floor, W/D hookups... This will make a nice primary residence or a lovely rental cottage.
