Custom 30' 4 Season Yurt

This 30 ft Mongolian Yurt from Mongolia has kept our family warm for two extreme winter and cool for two summers. It is 100% untreated cotton skin, 1/2 untreated wool felt ceiling and wall insulation, and a inside royal blue and gold wall drape. The frame is 8 4x4's for the outer wall uprights and 4 4x4's for the center ring up rights. The outer wall has a 4x6 header and 2x6 cross members. The ring is double layer 2x6 and has 72 2x6 rafters. We have with stood 12 in of snow build up and 60 mph winds in this yurt with no problems. I have installed 2 dual pane insulated picture windows one that opens out and up (the half circle). The skin roof needs a little bit of love or better a metal roof everything else is in near perfect conditions. We can deliver to Taos, Santa Fe, or Albuquerque area and we can assist in the set up.
