About
A little bit of a Project Tiny Home: 2001 Converted 25 Passenger E450 Ford 7.3L Diesel Powerstroke V8 Turbo Shuttle Bus - 9.5K or OBO
Perfect as a guest house, air BnB rental, additional tiny housing on your property. The engine, transmission and mechanics are in great condition and have been maintained, currently at 160K miles; however bus chasis frame would need some integrity welding if you want it road worthy again. Tires were replaced a year ago and only had 14K mile put on them, brakes replaced. Full service history and my records available upon request.
As an unique, custom one of a kind stationary guest house on your property, you could jack it up and not worry about the bus frame welding. For full time driving, some additional support is needed for the over hang of the bus frame. The truck frame is solid, very sturdy according to my garage. The bus frame extends 1.5 ft over the truck frame on either side and is drooping in one spot. Sturdy angle iron brackets have been recommended to reinforce where the bus frame intersects the truck frame.
Currently has a Full bed which slides to Queen size, plenty of storage, , 2 closets, shower stall connected to grey tank, 16 ft' roof deck, 64" sliding drawers under stairwell, large steel back deck and large job site box (the garage) welded onto the truck frame (in great condition). Additionally I am now selling with the Compost Toilet (Separatt Villa 9215, 3K Dwarf Tiny Stove (Tiny Wood Stove Company, and full Solar System, and propane heater fully installed). These are all less than 2 years old and cost $4900 just for parts before install.
I love this tiny home I designed and built and think it still has some great years in it as a cozy home for the next owner or renters or road warriors if they are willing to put some work into it. It is completely custom and unique featuring salvaged barn metal, 1850's roof tin tiles (the heat shield for the wood stove), repurposed barn wood, antique shutter door, and pallet walls. One of a kind tiny home. I lived in it comfortably for the past 2 years, including this past winter in Steamboat, Colorado with an electric hook-up.
Great project bus if you wanted a mostly already finished build with some frame welding work for the road.. perfect if you had land to park it and just wanted an unique tiny home.
I have been told all the mechanical parts under the hood could easily be salvaged for 3K if you weren't looking to drive it again.
Happy to share build details as well as mechanical history. Message me for details. 9.5K or OBO
