In Thermal, California (just 25 miles Southeast of Palm Spring) there sits a 20’ long, RVIA certified, tiny house on wheels with 250 square feet in total, just waiting for a new home. Built in 2018 by California Tiny Homes, this THOW is amply sized for both transit and comfort.







Built on a heavy duty, double axle R & J Brand Trailer rated for 14,000 lbs the home has a dry weight of only 10,000 lbs.Standing a few feet from the house you can see the charm of its lofted roof, which is clad in standing seam metal. The home is traditionally framed with wood and wrapped in tongue and groove pine painted a lovely pale grey with a hint of sea spray blue. The keyless entry is painted a bold blue and has an awning overhead for protection while entering. In total there are nine dual pane Low-E windows, four of which are in the sleeping loft allowing for ample natural light and beautiful views to go to sleep and wake up to.

Upon entering you are right in the living space that allows for a corner cabinet/entertainment hutch as well as a small couch or full size loveseat. The space also contains an Aura 12,000 BTU Mini Split HVAC. Lighting throughout the house is recessed LED lighting which is beautifully tucked into solid Birch board and batten ceiling. Speaking of board and batten, the interior walls are 1/2" plywood sheer paneling with a board and batten effect that offers both charm and style. Moving to the right of the home is the kitchenette that while small, is also incredibly functional. The galley features a spacious base cabinet with Bamboo countertop and a stainless steel undermount sink. The sink also has an insert that allows for a larger workspace when needed. With exposed shelving overhead the kitchen also has a convection oven, a moveable induction cooktop, and an apartment sized fridge/freezer. Across from the main work space is a collapsible bamboo table for eating or working.







Just opposite the galley-style kitchen are the stairs to the queen sized sleeping loft. The stairs going up have a very cool staircase with pipe hand railing and cubby storage. The sleeping loft itself has a 2’ x 3’ closet and a knee wall for added privacy. Beneath the staircase is a Splendide Ventless Washer Dryer Combo and more storage leading into the bathroom which houses a 3' x 3' shower, a flush commode, and a small vanity. Overhead is an exhaust fan. To keep the warm water flowing for a morning shower the house comes equipped with an A.O Smith 20-gallon electric hot water heater. The bathroom is quite lovely and has a pocket door for privacy.

Other features in the Sea Breeze 20 are the overhead ceiling fan and the bamboo flooring throughout. It truly is a wonderful home and is offered at a remarkable price considering it comes with everything inside ( the television, the dishes, the furniture) and even the 5’ deck outside.
