Do you need a small space where you can relax? A space without clutter, without other people, and without extra responsibilities?

This tiny home was made for such a purpose. Built for our teenage son to have a space to call his own, we gave him the option of taking the trailer with him as an adult. However, things didn’t work out that way, so we need to sell this beautiful and peaceful space as we prepare to move this summer.

We began with a 1992 Coleman pop up trailer. After gutting all but the essentials (pluming, electrical, gas), we framed the unit with 2x4 walls, filled them with 1.5-inch foam insulation, and filled the cracks with spray foam. We’ve spent over 200 hours making this tiny home just right.

The white space is soothing to the mind, while the cross windows provide ample airflow. Can you believe this 60 square feet space includes a small tub and shower? The couch turns into an extra wide twin bed with plenty of storage for clothes and belongings underneath.

The 6-gallon propane water heater makes it easy to wash dishes, take a short shower, or soak your feet in the tub after a long day. The 10-gallon fresh water tank is a great size for this small of a space. Also included is a brand new, never used, portable flush toilet.

The mini-fridge and microwave let you store cool drinks or heat up quick meals. A gas line is installed under the counter if you would like to add a stove at some point. Or, simply plug in a hot plate or electric skillet.

While this tiny home trailer keeps out a good amount of heat, and cools itself well at night, you may want to invest in a small air cooler depending on where you park it. If you park in the shade you may not need it at all. A small fan is included and easily stored in the tub.

The tiny home will need to be winterized, or properly insulated for use in the cold months. An electric space heater is included to quickly take off the chill of colder evenings. It is stored under the couch.

A few minor details would make this home more complete. Some trim around the windows inside, or extra trim to hide some of the seams better would give this home a flawless look. There are cross beams in the walls where we originally planned to hang a fold-up table on the wall, make a coat/towel rack by the door, and hang our son’s guitars on the back wall. All the cushions need to be covered properly. We have them in temporary coverings to get by for now.
