About
This beautiful cedar cabin is perfect for any land owner. As a primary residence, a guest cabin, or lakeside getaway it is cost-effective and of the highest quality construction in its class. The structure boasts a highly efficient passive solar design that retains heat in the winter and sheds it in the summer. Large triple pane, wood framed, south facing windows are fully insulated and air tight. The cabin includes a sleeping loft made of reclaimed Douglas Fir beams and barn boards. Cedar shingles, siding, and fascia bring it all together with timeless, natural look. The tiled hearth and entrance-way are ready for a wood stove and the chimney, electrical, and plumbing are roughed in and ready to go.
The cabin has a 240 sq. ft. interior and 80 sq. ft. of deck space. It is built on 24' skids and can be easily toted to your existing property. The solid 2x6 construction has been built with plywood being glued and screwed through from the floor to the rafters and will last generations.
This cabin was originally built to be the primary residence of the builder, Blake, but due to a change of circumstances he never wound up moving in. It was built with extreme care and skill to come so close to perfection it borders on divine.
