"Caty Greene" Caboose

Looking for a delightfully charming studio or office space? "Caty Greene" is a reproduction railway car built by Roundhouse Workshop of Contoocook, NH. The seller is the first owner of the Caty Greene, and has owned her since November of 2021. During this time she has been parked in one location.

Caty Greene is constructed of a hemlock timber frame sided with tongue-and-groove cypress with a metal roof. Walls and ceiling are insulated with wool while the floor is insulated with foam. She has a cypress bead board interior and hickory floor. She is seated on a custom-built Granite State Tiny House Trailer.

She has four opening windows, two doors, and two small decks.

The interior is seven-and-a-half feet wide by fifteen-and-a-half feet long, with a corner closet thirty-two inches square.

The interior has five pendant ceiling lights on a dimmer. Each deck has its own exterior light. The marker lights are wired as parking lights.

She is outfitted with a 50-amp fusebox, and certified by NOAH. She is heated by a Mitsubishi mini split for year-round heating and cooling. The closet is wired to support an incinerating toilet (or could also have a composting toilet).

Roundhouse Workshop is still building and selling reproduction railway cars, with a starting price of $70,000. Given that Caty Greene has been in use for a year, we've decided to price her at $60,000. This includes storm windows and a 25-foot 50-amp RV cable.
