There is nothing quite like the feeling of moving into a brand new home. There are no lingering odors, there is no wondering what has been prepared in the kitchen, who has been in the bathroom, or just what precocious young person has been sleeping in your bed! It is just that new smell - your smell - and the feeling of freedom in your own space. That sense of liberty can be yours with this beautiful, 24’ long tiny house on wheels.

Built in the sleepy township of Goshen, Ohio, the 140 square foot tiny house is an architecturally rich build sporting a classic design with a raised roof area at the loft end of the house and even a 4’ tiny porch at the entry side. The house is built with traditional lumber framing and then wrapped with a horizontal mix of vinyl panel siding, batten boards for that Craftsmen look, and faux stone to give a stone foundation look. The deck itself is composite decking for complete longevity in terms of wear and tear and the nine windows are vinyl, single hung, argon filled windows. The roof is a corrugated metal with metal ridge cap and enclosed eaves. The porch is built with a handrail, an exterior electrical plug, and plenty of room for a comfortable chair or shoe bench.

The front entry leads directly into the living room area which comes furnished with a black, contemporary sofa, and a TV mount on the wall. It is a small but cozy space with white washed pine walls like the rest of the tiny house. Cleverly enclosing the living area is an almost floor-to-ceiling wardrobe that creates space for hanging clothes and coats, shoes, and anything else you may want to put in its drawers!

The tiny house on wheels has a very contemporary, somewhat industrial feel to it which is no more pronounced than in the kitchen. There is a stainless steel table with stainless stools that can be used for prepping dinner on or eating on. It could also be used for a workspace if need be. The business part of the kitchen is a commercial grade stainless steel countertop with stainless steel sink, and a refrigerator underneath. There are no visible cabinets for storage but there is a full-wall, metallic backsplash where any number of things can be hung with magnets. There is also room overhead where a pot rack could be installed or cabinets could be added.

Beyond the kitchen and closed off by a pine, outward swinging door is the bathroom. It is outfitted with a Nature’s Head compost toilet and the area also has a shower and a small, single cabinet vanity with sink. The entire bathroom is wrapped in a water-resistant laminate making it easy to clean and mold-resistant. There is a frosted pane window next to the commode for ventilation and natural light.

Back out into the kitchen is a set of metal marine-style steps that lead up to the sleeping loft. With a padded floor, two crankcase windows on either side, wall sconces, and a padded built-in headboard, the loft has ample space and will make an excellent home for your full size mattress, and a great place for a good night’s rest.

Perhaps the most attractive feature of the house is the ceiling though. From front to back the house has a coffered-style ceiling painted black giving the area a refined yet progressive feel. It is most unusual in a tiny house but certainly comfortable and stylish.
Built on a tandem axle trailer with corner stabilizer jacks, the house is 30-amp and wired for shore power. It stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter thanks to a 220V 12,000 BTU mini-split. The structure is insulated with 6” of foam in the floor and 4” of traditional fiberglass batting in the walls and ceiling.

This tiny house, with this much style, and at this price point, simply won’t last long. It is turnkey ready and, more importantly, ready for you to call it home.
