We started with a 28 foot Trailer Made tiny house foundation trailer specially designed for Tiny House construction, supper strong and built to last a lifetime. The trailer is filled with insulation to reduce sound and retain heating and cooling energy.
Then we framed the house with a steel frame which was designed and fabricated using FrameCad technology for superior strength and lighter weight. Steel framing is 25 times stronger than wood, and this tiny house is 2500 pounds lighter than a similar wood framed unit. Also steel is naturally fire resistant.
We used foam insulation for superior R value and noise reduction. It is so quiet inside and retains it's heat or cooling very well keeping it comfortable year round while saving energy. The foam fills every nook and cranny in the framing to eliminate costly air leaks and adds even more strength to the already strong walls.
The exterior siding is board and baton style which looks great and right at home in the city or country.
Inside we used only ship lap cladding, no drywall, for an upscale classy, comfortable look and feel. The color scheme is cozy and relaxing. We used water proof vinyl flooring, it's easy to clean, less maintenance and looks fantastic.
The bathroom is equipped with a full size tub for a long, comfortable, warm soak, and the tankless water heater ensures you will have plenty of hot water. Right inside the bathroom is a full size closet, and washer and dryer making laundry quick and easy. This design gives plenty of space and makes dressing for the day a breeze.
The lofts are large and comfortable whether sleeping, reading or just hanging out they are nearly 4 feet tall making moving around easy.
The kitchen is minimalistic with beautiful white shaker style cabinets, maple butcher block counter tops and features a bar for dining.
A full set of steps offers easy access to the main loft and tons of storage with space for a microwave and toaster oven and a large pantry.
At the back of the house is a fantastic, comfortable space for lounging, visiting or enjoying a movie.
Throughout the house are large, high efficiency windows that flood the house with natural light and really bring the outdoors in, making the house feel large and open.
