About
After a year of exploring North America and re-building Atlas into the ultimate off-grid home, we’re finally listing it for sale to start a new chapter. As you might know, Atlas was originally built on HGTVs Tiny House Big Living, Season 1, Episode 13. After the original builders created it, they put it up for rent in a small tiny-house community called Wee Casa in Lyons, CO. When we bought Atlas, it was setup for a life of being parked, but we quickly changed that.
Atlas is 196 Sq Ft (floor plans, and factory specs found here) with an entire wall of glass protected by a folding deck when traveling. Atlas now features 640 watts of solar panels, 460 aH of AGM battery storage, a shower, sink, composting toilet, and enough water storage to last 3-4 weeks off-grid.
We’ve completely remodeled the bathroom with a contractor that specializes in building tiny homes inside of racing trailers for off-roading. We now have a wet bath constructed from a custom aluminum pan & white subway tile.
The trailer is 18’x8’ and 13’ tall. Fully loaded with all our belongings it weighs around 10,000 pounds.
