Using the popular Zip system for sheathing and standing seam metal for both the siding and roofing, It is an attractive home completed with black trim, multiple windows, and a sliding glass door entry. The floor of the home is ¾” plywood with 1” foam insulation. The walls are R-15 fiberglass batting insulation while the roof is R-19 value.

Once inside the THOW you are immediately in the living area which boasts a flat-screen television on the wall, a couch for 3, and access to the loft stairs. Of course, the space also leads directly into the kitchen area, which has a full-size sink, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a Blackstone cooktop. While there is limited base cabinetry there is open shelving above the fridge and bar seating for three. There is unconventional storage including room under the sink, under the counter, under the stairs, and under the bench in the living room. The kitchen - like the other surfaces - is primed and painted a sort of whitewash. The interior walls and the ceiling are a smart mix of T111 and panel board.

Once up the stairs and in the master loft, there are plenty of electrical outlets and open walls to hang either a flatscreen television or a tablet. There is also a very cool catwalk that leads from the master loft to a cozy sitting area or another (yet smaller) sleeping area.

The entire house is wired for 50-amp shore power and the interior panel box is permanent 100-amp circuitry. The heating and cooling of the small home are provided by a mini-split with heat pump. It is 19-see and at max during the cold months only cost $25 a month. It truly is efficient. The hot water in the house is provided by a 30-amp electric, flash water heater that gives off 1.6 gallons a minute.
