About
This is my baby; please care for her well. There is nothing wrong; I just want to spend some time overseas, and she can not make the trip. I am willing to drive her to you, or at least to a major airport near you. I am a writer and an artist, currently completing a Master's in Creative Writing. The price is negotiable. Can provide additional pictures or information to those interested.
PROS:
-Very customizable, I have changed the layout at least 5 times in the two years I have been living in it
-Engine rebuild, at about 200k miles
-18-inch roof raise
-Insulation in floor, walls, and ceiling.
-Has a three-tier pantry, 18-inch depth
-Open concept closet, with a ton of storage options
-25-foot fluffy carpet runner + mini carpet cleaner & mini vaccum.
-Butcherblock block countertop
-Stainless steel sink, with covers for extra counterspace
-Has an on-counter oven that works great!
-Has 2 countertop stove options.
-Has an air fryer
-Has an electric Moka pot
-Has a bookshelf
-There are 2 battery banks and 2 solar panels. I have pulled most of my power through extension cords, which go into the house that my scholarship provides.
-2 8kw diesel heaters, one installed, the other completely new. (has kept me warm in negative degree weather.
-There is also an electric space heater (needs sure power) and a propane heater with a 25-gallon tank attached.
-Has an air conditioning unit that has kept up with 90-degree Indiana summers
-Windows are a bit atypical as they are house windows ( I hated the RV window look), but she has driven over 10 hours with them in and has had no issues. There are 5 windows, and they are insulated.
-Has two air filter units
-There are several LED light strips with numerous color options
-Raised queen-sized bed with plenty of under storage. (so much storage everywhere) The bed has a mattress pad and a mattress topper as well. Very comfy!
- Composting toilet(does the trick but a pain in the ass)
- 5-gallon portable water tank, which I refill every few days.
-Classified as a Motor Home, so one does not need a CDL to drive.
-Insurance is through State Farm, and I have had no issues maintaining it.
Other optional Add-ons
-Over 200 dollars worth of plants, if they are cared for, they can be added in, as I cannot take them overseas.
-brand new PS5, limited edition Ghost of Yoti Skin with 2 matching controllers. (includes 5 other new games as well.)
-Gaming monitor and Anker Speaker
-numerous Milwaukee power tools for any renovations desired.
CONS:
-I have replaced the DIY skylight, as it had a leaking issue with a closed skylight. This one does not leak, but I could imagine it needing a replacement in a few years.
-There is a crack in the front windshield, which has never caused me any issues but is worth noting.
-The stairs are uninsulated and carry so much cold air. There is also a cat door that can be covered upon request
-Yes, I have lived with my 2 cats; however, they are trained to use the bathroom outside, and so there are no lingering smells or issues of that sort, but this may irritate someone with allergies.
-No internal water system or grey water tank
-No permanent electric systems, needs an upgraded electrical system or sure power.
-The ceiling, I hate the ceiling, haha, I used some bendable boards that I painted white, and they do the job, but I do dream of something different. There are a few eye-sore gaps, so it could be smoother, but again, it does the job.
-At some point during the roof raise, the windowshield wipers become disconnected...believe it or not, this has not caused major issues as the windowshield has a deep vertical slant, but I know it is not ideal and needs to be fixed.
-The outside has been painted white, as I was planning to paint a mural on it, but did not get around to it with school. There are still a few places that show the army green color it came with, mainly on the back of the bus.
-I have been treating this like a starter home, making improvements as I go or see fit, so with that being said, there is plenty that can be changed, improved, etc.
Side Note: This is probably a great home for someone who either
a. wants to travel full-time as the engine is pristine, and it has moved around the country twice now.
b. someone who has some land and wants an extra unit for WWOOFing or AirBNBing
c. someone who loves customization and won't shy away from making it their own.
