Thoughtfully Handcrafted 26' Tiny House

Built as a labor of love, this 26-foot Tumbleweed-design tiny house on wheels is ready for its next owner! We spent a year building this house in 2016 and then lived in it for three years, so all of the features are carefully designed and implemented, making this an extremely practical and livable space. We intended to live in this long-term so quality materials were used with great attention to detail to ensure a long-lasting structure. The builder is a licensed electrician and we had family members with professional home-building experience help, as well. Propane lines and metal roof were professionally installed. The house was only moved once (low-mileage) but it handled the trip flawlessly. Details are listed below, but please reach out if you have further questions! The bones:
- Trailer purchased through Tumbleweed (so designed specially for a tiny house) from Great Northern Trailer Works in Oregon. 26’ long, 8.5’ wide, triple axel
- Plans purchased from Tumbleweed Tiny House Company - Cypress Overlook model with dormers
- Cedar clapboard siding
- Jeld-Wen windows with tempered, high altitude glass. Main floor has eight double-hung and one garden, loft has one fixed and four awning
- Used environmentally friendly materials when we could (cork flooring, beetle kill pine walls and ceiling, LED lights, salvaged wood for accent pieces, etc.)
- Closed cell spray foam insulation in walls and ceiling, rigid foam insulation in floor
- Weight of entire tiny house is 12,060 lbs (trailer is rated to 14,000 lbs)

- 120/240V 30 Amp electric service connection
- Propane hookup for water heater, wall heater, and stove
- Utility shed on trailer hitch contains water heater, electrical panel, and propane hookup
- Hose intake located next to shed
- Gray water drain set up to connect to portable holding tank
