26’ Non Toxic - Highly Insulated- Mold Resistant - Tiny House

This is a 26 foot Fine tiny house called Arctic Fox! Using the perfect wall design invented by Joseph Lstiburek this home will thrive in any environment and is built to last.

With sustainably grown birch flooring and framing this home is eco friendly, along with being human friendly. Human friendly means all of the finishes, paints, and sealants are non-toxic and safe for a sensitive persons’ environment. With a high attention to detail regarding the possibility of mold growth!

With a 3’ Propane range, a 33" stainless farmhouse sink, a dishwasher, and 9’ of countertop area, this space is perfect for anyone who likes to spend time in the kitchen! With all custom made cabinetry every inch of space is accounted for with toe kick drawers and over 22 square feet of pantry space. Also included is a propane on demand water heater that provides endless hot water.

Take a bath in the Japanese inspired soaking tub made of cedar while being surrounded by Tadelakt walls. Tadelakt is a ancient Moroccan waterproof plaster technique made from all natural materials with a rustic beauty that adds character to any wall, especially when accented by the exposed copper piping and custom copper shower head, sink and faucet. The copper sink sits in a Paperstone countertop made from 100% recycled paper. This tiny home also comes with a flush toilet which connects to an external macerating pump that can pump all of the plumbing to any inlet up to 150’ away.

Moving upstairs we have a 10 1/2 ft loft that can comfortably fit a queen size mattress or even a king with room to spare. Across the home we have a 5’ loft perfect for a reading nook or meditation space. Both lofts have a comfortable amount of headroom as the exterior insulation adds 6 inches to the head room.

Being an air tight, Vapor tight, and water tight space this house has an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) installed to ensure the highest quality of air at all times while not affecting the temperature inside the conditioned space. A mini split heat pump will take care of most of the heating and cooling however for those extra cold days under 14 degrees where a heat pump won’t work there’s also 2 electric cadet heaters. Along with radiant heat in the bathroom which can heat the space alone on moderate nights.

This home is cladded in steel siding all around, including the roof. This provides the best element barrier along with better wildfire protection.

The home is currently being showed but I am waiting on a small shipment of siding to finish final touchups. Also, the bathtub is being refinished in an Epoxy that is BPA and VOC free, which is even safe for food contact. I will post final photos when the materials arrive.
