It has come time for us to sell our beloved Tiny Home. It was our full-time residence for 5 years until our recent move to our new property. Our expanding family and growing non-profit, with one child, another on the way and 60 animals we required a little more space than the Tiny home could offer and we feel like it is time to let another couple or new family reap the joys and benefits of downsizing. We never felt like we lived in a trailer, the warm and inviting space was a fairytale home, one that we missed even while on vacation.

Story Behind the Tiny Home: This tiny home was built and featured on the HGTV show Tiny House Nation as Season 2 Finale called The Bird’s Nest. The reason behind the name Bird’s Nest is because we started a non-profit called Window To The Wild (www.windowtothewild.org) around the same time we decided to do tiny living. The outside of the house was designed with the inspiration on how birds build nests with pieces that they find. The upper part is the blue sky and the lower part is the nest.

• A unique and cozy open-concept tiny home on wheels with vaulted ceilings, bathroom, loft, closet and laundry area. The house was focused around the bathroom and the kitchen to make the home as easy to live in as a normal sized home.
