2004 Bluebird TC/2000 Skoolie - $40,000 (Mesa, AZ)

I’m selling my 2004 Bluebird skoolie, a project I took on when I needed a place to live while I was working hard to save my CrossFit gyms. I bought it from a carpenter friend in Canada after he built it out and traveled through the US. It served me well, and now that I’m back in my house, It’s a great bus that’s probably 90% of the way to becoming someone’s dream bus, and I want to pass it on to someone who will appreciate it and help it live up to its full potential.

About the Skoolie:
• Solid Foundation: Cummins 5.9 L diesel engine. It has about 225,000 kilometers (~140,000 miles) on it, generally gets 8 to 11 miles per gallon, with a range of about 600 miles per tank. It starts up easily and runs strong
• Comfortable Layout: There are three separate sleeping areas—a full-size bed in the back and two folding beds in the front—so it’s set up to comfortably accommodate a small family or a few friends. There’s also under-seat storage to help keep things organized.
• Well-Insulated: The roof is insulated with mineral wool, and the floor with Enermax, making it a comfortable space in a variety of climates.
• Living Amenities: The skoolie includes a Dometic refrigerator (runs on electric or propane), a microwave, an air conditioner, and a couple of TVs with a soundbar. It’s wired with a 300w solar panel, MPPT controller, and a 1500w inverter, making it off-grid capable
• Propane Systems: It has a Wedgewood Vision oven, Suburban furnace, and an Atwood 6-gallon water heater.
• Water & Waste: Equipped with two 20-gallon fresh water tanks, a 28-gallon black water tank, and a 28-gallon gray water tank, which are all easily cleaned at any RV dumping station

More Details:
• The bus is originally from Quebec, Canada, so the dash is in French and everything is metric
• It’s RV plated, so you can drive it with a standard driver’s license.

This skoolie isn’t perfect, but it’s close. If you’re looking for a project that doesn’t need a full overhaul, this might be the one for you. I’m not in a hurry to sell, but I’m hoping to find someone who sees the potential in it and is ready to take it to the next level.
