Now for the interior work that’s been done on this bus conversion platform. We raised the roof 15 inches, for over 7’4” of interior headroom! This opens up so many more floor plan possibilities, and makes the interior feel much more spacious. We installed RV windows, for better insulation and a fresh new look. The bus now has a brand new locking RV door (plus a screen door), with a large window for driver visibility. The heater hoses have been rerouted underneath the bus for easier access once the interior is built out. The bus is primed inside and out, and is ready for an exterior paint job. The roof of the bus has been painted with three coats of white elastomeric paint to seal and help regulate the inside temperature. Three inches of spray foam insulation has been installed, making the bus have an insulation R-value that is equivalent to standard residential homes. The wheel wells have also been framed in and spray foamed to insulate and reduce road noise. The subfloor and wall framing are installed and the interior is completely ready to be built out.
